My name is Murat.I live in Istanbul.I am also member of vstromturkiye.org which is our site in Turkia.
I have 2007 model Vstrom DL650A.I bought it on 25.07.2007 and i have riden till now 38.000 kms.
I also want to visit Greece.I have been in Salonica last year but not with my bike.
This year i want to come there.
I hope you accept me as one of your friend in Istanbul.If anyone wants to come to Istanbul please contact with me.I will do my best for you.

It is always good to have an other opinion from an other country about Strom.
My opinion is to visit the country with your DL and not with your car.You 'll enjoy it better.Borders is not that far as you think it is.
By the way how much did you buy it in Turkey in us dollars?

Chidimis i live in European side of Turkey and my home is only 200 kms away from Greek Border.
I bought my VStrom for 14.500 US Dollars.In Turkey the taxes are too high.I have been in Germany two weeks ago and there cheaper than here.Also here it si difficult to find some accesories for DLI know there are plenty of shops for motorcycle in Greece.I will come and make some shopping there
I cant speak Greek and this will be difficult for me to understand the site activities.
Means i need to learn greek:)

I will need help about translation from Greek to English
I can read greek i know the greek alphabet.My family roots are from Trabzon (Trapezus) where the Pontus Greeks lived.because of that all my family and relatives can speak pontiaca greek.
Maybe i can learn little bir greek with this site.but i need time

of course deuxst never complain about the taxes in Greece.You know how much is the petrol in Turkey
95 unleaded 1,90 Euro
how much in greece?last year it was just 1 euro

Please check and see what we are doing.This year me and my 2 friends made an excellent tour in Blacksea Coasts 4000 km.It was wonderful.If there will be a good weather till the end of this year I want to come to Greece with my DL.
